We are a deeply dedicated, motivated, and authentic bunch. Some things we care about: A positive attitude. Innovation. Integrity. Respect. Accountability. Flexibility. Supporting one another. Exceeding expectations. Expressing our ideas and, equally important, listening to others. Some things we do together (by choice!): Go on the hunt for the best margaritas. Play ping pong. Check out local exhibitions. Shop. Get gelato. Travel. Karaoke!
Anyone for a friendly game of cornhole? It's one of our pastimes here.

CEO Luke and CSO Alex celebrating achievements with the team
These are the amazing people who took the risk to become mobile marketing leaders in their local markets. Our clients come from many different backgrounds, spanning almost all 50 states and three different countries. They're like family, and we work collaboratively together to understand the needs of our merchants and how we can leverage our strengths as an organization to provide the best solution possible to those merchants.
SMS Masterminds was founded in 2009 by Alex Minicucci and Luke Wallace, headquartered in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California. Privately funded by Alex, they achieved profitability before the end of their first year. Quickly outgrowing their modest one room office, they expanded into a larger suite, which was epanded even further in 2014 to now over 8,000 square feet housing 70 people. They made the INC5000 list in 2013, acknowledging their rapid growth as the 66th fastest growing software company in the country. In 2014, they were acquired by SpendSmart Networks, Inc., a publicly traded company (OTC: SSPC). A cash raise of $12.2M and an impressive Board of Directors gave the Masterminds team the fuel they needed to grow the business to new heights. 2015 has been a banner year for the Masterminds team, with international expansion into Canada and Mexico, licensees in over 200 markets across the United States, the launch of two new software platforms in Q1 2015, and reaching 4M subscribers in June.
